How I Help

I work with a small number of teams at a time.

Engagements are clearly scoped, regularly reviewed, and designed to reduce pressure rather than add process.

When Teams Usually Come To Me

Most teams reach out after product-market fit, when operational pressure starts building underneath the product.

Common situations include:

  • Support volume rising faster than the team can handle.

  • Onboarding technically works but creates downstream support issues.

  • Product, support, and compliance pulling in different directions.

  • AI introduced into workflows without clear operational boundaries.

  • Founders or senior leaders still acting as the escalation point for operational issues.

The product works.

But the systems underneath it are starting to strain.

Fractional operator

Senior operational ownership without the commitment of a full-time hire.

This works well when a team needs:

  • clear ownership of a defined operational area

  • someone working across product, support, and operations

  • hands-on delivery combined with senior judgement

Typical engagement

1–2 days per week depending on scope and operational complexity.

Monthly retainers typically range between £4k and £9k, depending on the level of ownership required.

Project work

Defined projects with clear outcomes

Examples include:

  • onboarding redesign

  • support workflow and escalation design

  • operational insight and reporting systems

  • AI agent and prompt architecture

  • regulated process documentation

Projects are scoped in advance, priced clearly, and delivered to a defined end point.

Advisory

Indepent perspective for founders and senior teams.

This usually involves:

  • fortnightly or monthly strategic conversations

  • reviewing operational decisions, plans, or risks

  • independent challenge and perspective

There is no delivery layer here; just judgement and experience.
